"a Nevada judge ruled in April in awarding $7.5 million to Wynn and Wynn Las Vegas. Francis lied when he claimed he had proof that Wynn tricked high-end gamblers, the judge ruled."

Joe. My. God.: Girls Gone Bankrupt

Well, at least the China-backed, gambling version of the Koch brothers is good for something.

Maybe it’s time for McCain to pack it in.

ericmortensen:

Can John McCain calm down? Is that possible? The man is either asleep or enraged. There is no middle ground. It’s not at all constructive. And with Chief Dull Guy Joe Lieberman retiring, he won’t have anyone to stand beside him and give the appearance of calm while he loses his shit over foreign policy matters.

As long as there is grease for his palm, John “Keating Five/Avoid the Appearance of Impropriety” McCain will not retire.

A list of things that don’t make sense:

  • LGBT Americans who support Romney.
  • LGBT allies who support Romney.
  • Women who support Romney.
  • Feminists who support Romney.
  • People of color who support Romney.
  • Supporters of racial equality who support Romney.
  • Middle-class Americans who support Romney.
  • Union workers who support Romney.
  • Non-Christians who support Romney.
  • Anyone who isn’t part of the privileged 1% who supports Romney.
  • Romney.

"In Misguided Attempt to Respond to Obama’s Reddit Stunt, Mitt Romney takes questions on anonymous imageboard ‘4chan"

Headlines I’d really like to see.

(the article would continue something like “he acquiesced to users requests to place footwear onto his head, but lost support when he refused to insert a permanent marker into one of his orifices”)

Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ on a Graham Cracker Crust, this needed to happen!

Never, do not ever, under no circumstance, never ever, should you check the #liberal related tags. You would think, after nearly 20 years of Interbutt usage, I would remember that by now.

Americans who oppose gay marriage are less educated.

I love the hell out of this, but to be fair, older generations, by no means reflective of their intelligence, had less schooling than current generations, just because of the way the education system was set up. So I would argue the more pertinent point here is still that older people are the ones against gay marriage, by and large.
Edit: Yes of course these are the facts. I’m just saying they are misrepresenting the issues. I think you would find it more evenly distributed (although not “evenly” but more evenly), if you sampled only people of the same age. The idea is that this is taking facts and showing them off without considering other relevant facts.
